Think of this site as my personal creative hub and portfolio, where I’ll be sharing my journey through industrial design, reverse engineering, and additive manufacturing. First things first, let me introduce myself. My name is Yalokin, and I work as a technical illustrator. To give you a quick mental picture of what I do: you know those clean, easy-to-follow diagrams in the user manuals of your favorite gadgets? Yep, crafting those illustrations is exactly my day job.
So, why 3D printing? The answer is simple: it’s the most rewarding way to turn ideas from sketches on paper or thoughts in your head into something you can actually hold in your hands. And guess what? You don’t need a formal engineering degree for this. As humans, we all have an intuitive understanding of the physical world. Even when we pick up a tool we’ve never seen before, our anatomy and physiology guide us on how to use it.
